Jacques Landrieu
Attorney
Jacques Landrieu is a proud New Orleans native dedicated to serving the legal needs of his community and the wider Gulf Coast region. Whether seeking justice for clients who have sustained personal injuries or damages to their homes and businesses, Jacques is deeply committed to helping those who have been wronged and fighting for their rights.
Jacques brings a wealth of litigation experience to the firm, particularly in the area of property damage claims. Jacques previously served as counsel for some of the nation’s largest insurance companies on hundreds of cases arising from some of the state’s most devastating natural disasters, giving him a unique and in-depth understanding of the tactics and operations of insurance companies. Jacques leverages this knowledge to effectively represent his clients and ensure they receive the compensation they deserve. Jacques also has extensive experience in personal injury and premises liability cases. Prior to his civil practice, Jacques served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Orleans Parish. As a lead prosecutor, he conducted numerous jury and bench trials, argued critical motions, and gained invaluable, first-chair trial experience.
Jacques is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Tulane University Law School. While in law school, Jacques placed first in the law school’s trial competition and represented the law school in multiple nation-wide tournaments as a member of Tulane’s Moot Court Trial Team. Jacques also served as a managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal and was honored with the CALI Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University.
Out of the office, Jacques can likely be found taking his dog Hank on a walk near his home in Mid-City or enjoying City Park with his wife and their baby girl.
